When I was in cosmetology school and new to the industry, I went to a seminar where the speaker (a very successful hair stylist) said that often he is asked what he does for a living. His response was "I physically and psychologically transform the lives and destinies of fellow human beings....I am a hairstylist!" Now that may seem a bit of an exaggeration, but I like to think that when my clients come to see me and sit in my chair, it's a chance for them to relax and separate themselves from their everyday stresses, as well as receive an amazing cut, color, style or waxing service. Something that is fresh and new, but easy to work with. I also think that it is important to educate my clients on how to repeat their "salon look" at home. It's always exciting to have a new cut and style, but it's even better when it can be fabulous every day!
I have been in this industry for 11 years, working with doll house for 9 years, and I love it! I enjoy the creative freedom, artistry, and social aspect that is hair. I love getting to know my clients, and through consultation, creating a custom cut, color or style that is unique for them. Whether it be something subtle and natural or a little more funky, I love it all. I didn't know 11 years ago that this was what I was going to do forever, but I am blessed to have found a career that I am passionate about and a salon that I enjoy working at every day.

I knew as soon as I started my cosmetology education that this was my passion and I had definitely chosen the right career path. The fact that my day consists of using my skills to help people feel better about themselves has been so fulfilling. When women sit in my chair, I do everything I can to assure their confidence and build their trust. A trust that you will receive not only exceptional service but also a style that fits you best!
An exceptional experience includes everything from a great shampoo to an amazing finished style. Whether its a new color and cut or simply a routine trim, I'll do my best to impress!

I have been a hair stylist for the past 12 years. After taking some time off to raise my son, Rumer, I am working as a stylist at doll house Hair Salon. I started my career at Panopoulos Salons before running my own salon, Studio 1. My Husband and I closed Studio 1 last year and opened doll house Hair Salon so we could focus on women’s hair. I have recently been training new assistants and providing continuing education to other senior stylists at doll house. I have been trained as a Schwarzkopf color educator, Great Lengths Extensions specialist and a Surface Hair Cutting educator.
My passions are making people feel better about themselves, to LISTEN to what they do and don't like about their hair. I love doing color and creating or re-creating a look that suites my guest. Hair cutting is also something I enjoy. Whether it's shaping up an existing style or going for that drastic oh-my-gosh-I-love-your-new-haircut look!
